So today is day 6 of the Worcestershire Literary Festival and what a ride it has been so far. I can’t believe that the festival will have been running for a week tomorrow, it seems like only two minutes!
I’ve managed to catch some great events this week but sadly I missed Theo Theobalds “Well Versed In Comedy” event at the Artrix in Bromsgrove last Monday. I think I need to clone myself, because there is only one of me and I can’t possibly get to every single event going on at the festival….although I’ve had a very good try!
Tuesday I was holed up at the Festival Information Point in the Crowngate in Worcester, and on Tuesday night I attended “Worcester Sauce”, an evening of “saucy and erotic readings” by members of the Worcester Writers’ Circle. It proved most entertaining and a challenge with England playing against the Ukraine in the Euro tournament that night, but at least we all knew when England had scored, no pun intended, a goal!
Then on Wednesday night it was over to Drummonds for “Poet & The Loops”, and tonight I’m MC’ing the Parole Parlate Festival Special, so it is all go!
