World Mental Health Day: We want your poems!

world-mental-health

Our lovely Poet Laureate, Nina Lewis, is passionate about mental health – and, in support of this year’s World Mental Health Day, she’s inviting you to get passionate, too! Nina is putting out an open call for poetry about, or in support of those suffering from, mental health issues. Entries are open to ANYONE, ANYWHERE in the world, so there’s no excuse to not get involved.

The maximum line count per poem is 40. You are allowed to send between 1 and 3 poems for consideration. All poems should be copied into the body of an email – NOT sent as attachments – to worcspl@gmail.com.

The deadline for this is October 8th – so get writing!

To keep up to date with Nina and all things Laureate generally, make sure you pop over to Nina’s personal blog where she posts regular updates on her latest ventures, endeavours, and plans for the Worcestershire poetry scene and beyond:
